Ocasio-Cortez appears to be recreating Obama’s multi-racial voter coalition

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is urging Black voters to turn out in the midterm elections, speaking at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s former church in Atlanta, while also drawing on the energy of Bernie Sanders’ “Fighting Oligarchy Tour” to build a multi-racial coalition of Democratic voters.
