My MLB player props analysis for Monday, April 27, will highlight Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Dylan Cease, and Ernie Clement.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 6.5 strikeouts (+126)
I’m starting my MLB picks with an absolute stud.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been dominant early on for the Los Angeles Dodgers, compiling a 2.48 ERA while striking out 28 in 32 2/3 innings.
Yamamoto has cashed the Over in Ks in back-to-back starts, sitting down seven batters in each outing.
He’ll face the Miami Marlins tonight, who are striking out 8.67 times per game on the road, compared to 6.88 at home.
Yamamoto also has a 29.6% whiff rate, which lands him in the Top 15 of MLB. He’ll miss enough bats to cash this Over.

Dylan Cease Over 7.5 strikeouts (-102)
Dylan Cease has been everything the Toronto Blue Jays could’ve hoped for and more this season. He’s emerged as the clear-cut ace of this staff, ranking third in the big leagues in strikeouts with 44 in only 25 2/3 innings.
The veteran has hit the Over in two of his previous three starts, and last time out, Cease sat down 12 via punchout. He’ll face the Boston Red Sox tonight, who just had a major shake-up after firing most of their coaching staff and have struggled to score in 2026.
The BoSox also have a 30.7% chase rate, which will help the Toronto hurler rack up the punchouts yet again.

Ernie Clement Over 1.5 hits (+185)
Ernie Clement may not be a home run hitter, but he’s absolutely raking. The Blue Jays infielder is third in the Majors in hits with 36, and he’s also batting .321. Clement has collected two or more hits in three of his last five games.
His strong hitting, paired with a plethora of Toronto injuries, has also bumped the infielder to the top of the order, giving him more ABs.
He has nine multi-hit games in April, and now faces southpaw Ranger Suarez. Clement is hitting .325 off lefties, and he’ll find further success against one tonight.
