This projects as the best ML/RL bet on the slate, with a projected ROI of 22% and a fair price roughly 65 cents shorter than the current odds.
It’s a great matchup for the Philadelphia Phillies against Zack Littell, who owns a 6.31 ERA at home and is coming off a start where he allowed seven runs.
Left-handed hitters have crushed him this season, accounting for 16 home runs and an OPS north of 1.000. That’s good news for Philadelphia’s best bats, which lean heavily to the left side.
The Phillies’ biggest offensive weakness is strikeouts, and Littell simply doesn’t miss many bats. On the other side, Jesus Luzardo has allowed two runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts, and Philadelphia also owns the bullpen edge.
Everything lines up for the Phillies to win this game by multiple runs.

Neil Parker’s expert pick: Mariners vs Pirates – Over 8.5

Both Seattle Mariners starter George Kirby and Pittsburgh Pirates righty Mitch Keller have been giving up runs in bunches since the middle of May.
Kirby checks in with a 6.27 ERA and 4.80 xERA while allowing a 44.4% hard-hit rate across his past six starts, and Keller enters with a 7.64 ERA, 6.33 xERA, and 42.6% hard-hit rate over his last seven outings.
These are also two capable offenses, with Seattle ranking 11th in xwOBA over the past 30 days and Pittsburgh seventh. So, with the wind forecast to be blowing out to the right-center alley, I’m anticipating both teams putting enough runs on the board to send this total Over the number tonight.

Price: 54¢ (-116) at Polymarket
Aaron Civale has been completely melting down, surrendering 18 earned runs over his last three starts, and things don’t get any easier against a San Francisco Giants lineup that ranks a respectable 10th in OPS over the last two weeks.
Making matters worse for the A’s is a bullpen that owns the worst ERA in baseball in that same two-week span. On the other side, Robbie Ray has been inconsistent all season and now draws an Athletics lineup that’s crushed left-handed pitching.
Add in 10-plus mph winds blowing out, and this game has all the ingredients for a high-scoring game.
