A new lottery division has been set up by EveryMatrix which will see the software provider reinforce its expertise on digital-first tech and features in the sector.
EveryMatrix has worked closely with tier-1 lotteries for over a decade now, supplying them with turnkey solutions, sports, and casino technology, among others.
Some of the company’s longstanding partnerships include the Hungarian state lottery (Szerencsejáték Zrt), Norway’s Norsk Tipping, Veikkaus in Finland, OPAP in Greece, and Denmark’s Danske Spil.
A bit closer to home, EveryMatrix has recently been making moves in the UK and Ireland, powering up FitzBet and its online betting platform.
Going even further out, the group is also looking at North America as a major market for opportunities, given the 45 state lotteries there and the increasing interest towards digital and omnichannel operations.
With the new lottery division, the firm will leverage this experience to create numbers games, pool sports, and eInstant games.
In addition, the new team will also acquire dedicated resources to create long-term investments within the lottery sector, therefore expanding EveryMatrix’s capabilities.
Experienced figure to lead EveryMatrix’s lottery unit
Managing Director of the new business unit will be Nikolina Gabelica, who joined the company three years ago and has extensive experience in the firm’s expansion across lottery products and sales.
Gabelica has over 20 years of international experience in both the lottery and iGaming sectors, heading product, commercial and operational leadership roles. Her work has seen her participate in initiatives organised by European Lotteries (EL).
Nikolina Gabelica, Managing Director, Lottery, EveryMatrix, said: “We strongly believe there is room in the lottery world for a new approach, bringing modern, modular and digital-first technologies that help lotteries grow, innovate and better meet expectations of today’s players.
“The creation of a dedicated Lottery business unit is a natural next step and an important milestone for EveryMatrix that reflects our long-term commitment to the lottery sector.”
