Die WNBA expandiert weiter. Nach der bevorstehenden Erweiterung um die Standorte Toronto und Portland haben die Eigentümer der WNBA- und NBA-Franchises nun die nächste Expansion beschlossen. Bis 2030 soll die Anzahl an Mannschaften auf 18 anwachsen.
